Golden Gate National Cemetery
Off the highway heading from San Jose to San Francisco is this beautiful national cemetery. I stopped in to grab a couple shots on my last trip by. Thanks to Amy Newman, I played around a bit with borders and toning. This is not my typical work, so it was fun to mess around a little out of my normal realm.

NYTimes article on Detroit
I recently got to shoot a story for the NYTimes on Detroit's declining population. They flew in a reporter for the day, and I spent the day splitting my time between shooting overalls of the city and meeting with the reporter to shoot subjects he had tracked down in a specific neighborhood. I was glad to get the assignment. It's definitely something I would like to spend some more time on. They ran a page in the paper and a slideshow online.
